Marcela J Villaca is an artist and illustrator born and raised in Brazil who migrated to Coast Salish lands a decade ago. Her work tells stories of belonging, movement, play, and the many relations connecting humans and the land. She creates with pencils, acrylics, collage, watercolors, crayons, and digital tools.
